Etienne Aigner eyewear has been around since 1987 and every lover of vintage eyewear knows the Aigner EA3 and EA4 sunglasses in the unusual Aviator shape and the cases in the characteristic Aigner "Antique Red".
But the eyewear brand with the horseshoe monogram has much more to offer. The rimless frames of the ‘90s, which Aigner produced in cooperation with Metzler, have become especially popular vintage eyewear.
Aigner's ‘90s eyewear collection features a wide variety of shapes, sizes and degrees of refinement. Rimless men's glasses with square demo lenses feature strongly in the collection, as do feminine eyewear designs with oval or rounded lenses. Each pair of glasses is almost always available in different sizes, to really offer the right model for every spectacle wearer.
What’s more, the old ‘90s Aigner glasses are not only chic and comfortable, but also deliberately produced with high quality. "Genium Allergy-Free" is a label that can always be found on Aigner's vintage frames. The frames are rhodium-plated, 18ct-gold-plated and made entirely of titanium to prevent allergic reactions such as to nickel.
Since the old Aigner glasses from Metzler are long gone, we are very happy to now be able to offer these great originals again, which are over 25 years old.
