Vintage-Sunglasses and DITA: A mutual inspiration

We have a very personal relationship with Dita's sunglasses, because we too are part of the Dita success story.

When we opened our shop for vintage sunglasses in April 2006, an extremely likeable guy from Los Angeles always bought the best and most interesting vintage glasses. As soon as we had a new top model in our shop, it was already sold again ... to this very eager guy from LA!

Since this buyer was always reliable, funny and very open, the contact intensified.  It turned out that this eyewear enthusiast was specifically looking for the highest quality vintage glasses – in order to be inspired by their details.

This exchange became so intense that Chris (the founder of Vintage-Sunglasses.de) made a detour to Beverly Boulevard during one of his business trips to Los Angeles to visit this cool vintage connoisseur. In the process, Chris learned who was behind the name John Juniper: it was none other than one of the founders of DITA Eyewear.

That was many years ago and DITA is now a world-renowned top brand for luxury sunglasses, whose models have become vintage eyewear themselves.

So, we have come full circle and John's sunglasses are now also part of our vintage range.
