- 1972, the Japanese brand started to produce frames
- since 1985 Eyevan belongs to Optec Japan Corporation
- Optec also made the vintage frames for Oliver Peoples
- Eyevan was marketed accordingly by Oliver Peoples
- rare old unworn pair, in size 49-21, made in JAPAN
- "DTB" = Zylonite color, "AG" = metal col. (antique gold)
