Since the beginning of the year 2008, the most popular vintage sunglasses are no longer presented exclusively on the internet, but also in real life. The “Store” in the Kastanienallee in Prenzlauer Berg, one of Berlin’s stylish in-quarters, now presents these unique sunglasses in a trendy showroom. The past few months have shown that the audience is no longer solely limited to “Berliners”, but instead, the Store has become an attraction and source of inspiration for many fashion conscious young designers as well as tourists.
Cult sunglasses, which have become almost as famous as the movies they were first seen in, like the Ray Ban Wayfarer from „Blues Brothers“, Robert DeNiro’s Carrera 5565 from „Cape Fear“, the Persol 714 Ratti from „The Thomas Crown Affair“, Eddie Murphy’s Porsche 5621 from „Beverly Hills Cop II“ – can now be touched, tried on - and bought here.
